Summer is good and the living is easy.
One of the
things most of the Maher family *hates* about life here is that Wal*Mart
is about the only place to shop for certain items.
I find it amusing.
Like,
I go there to get glue and light bulbs and scotch tape™ and stuff, and
about once a month the person cashing out in front of me seems totally
bewildered when it comes time to pay.
The cashier will say "That will be $72.09"
And
the customer acts like Spotlights came on, TV cameras started rolling,
and they were handed the Rosetta Stone, and asked by Alex Trebek to
translate it.
In Limerick form.
In English.
